Being a girl growing up reading romantic novels and a healthy dose of Bollywood films, your mind is wired to think that someday, even your right guy will come. Someone who'll do exactly as it's in the movies. Someone who'll know exactly when to hold your hand, and how to say 'I love you just so you have a chill down your spine. He'll know when to lean in to kiss, and how that kiss is going to be the best ever. And, then he'll smile at you and your insides will melt And, how he will always think you look pretty even though you have dark circles and bad hair day to fight with every other day.
But, slowly you realise, how really, it's just the opposite.
How, it's so difficult to find one nice guy, even more having a decent conversation with him and looking around to see all your friends meeting their right guy's. And, then you accept the fact, that maybe just maybe good things will never happen to you.
You'll always be that girl who kissed all the wrong guys, the ones that never turned out to be your prince, how dealing with heartbreak acme just as easy to you like swallowing food, how you've never really been happy with someone and how no one thought you were pretty. (even though you're not. But, let's ignore that part, shall we?)
But, as they say, Sometimes, life gives you a fairytale out of your normal, boring, ordinary life.
You happen to meet this really nice guy who thinks your lame jokes aren't that lame and your voice is cute, and who for a change doesn't give up on you.
At first, you refuse to believe and just credit it him being nice to you and wait for something to go wrong.
And, when months go by, and something doesn't, you freak out and create problems yourself. And, fight with him and order him never to talk to you again.
But, he still does. And, keeps on calling you until you pick up. Texts you every night even though you were talking to him on the phone just a minute ago.Bears all your tantrums and drunk calls, when you call him by every girly name possible and declare your love for hot soccer players.
And, soon you come to the conclusion, that maybe he is the one. Maybe, even you can find the right guy.
Maybe life can be how is it in the movies.
And, even though you haven't kissed yet, you know it'll be straight out of a movie scene.
Because, maybe he is the one who's gonna be your wonderwall.
P.S- yours truly won an Amazing Journo contest for Nokia India Fest and got a free weekend trip to Goa, in return. Flying to Goa tomorrow Wheee.

That made for such a candy read!Congrats for the trip! I always knew you had what it takes.Didn't I tell you so many times that you're the most amazingly non-complicated but still soulful writers I've ever read? But where've you been hiding all these days, girl?I missed you so much! It's been so long since you posted! Not fair.Just because big shot Nokia came and swept you off your feet, you'll forget your modest,poor,non-nokia readers?SO not fair!
